At the end of March, government funding cuts led to the cancellation of several thousand pounds of food deliveries intended for Harvesters in Kansas City. This shortage affects the entire community, as Harvesters supplies smaller food banks.

To help, we're hosting a food drive during the Boots on the Ground Free State event on Sunday, April 27 at Thompson Park in downtown Overland Park. Our goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of non-perishable items for Harvesters.
