Welcome to Burns & McDonnell TRN Holiday Food Drive for Harvesters
We are partnering with Harvesters for a food drive during the holiday months. Harvesters’ network of agencies feeds an estimated 226,000 people per month and in the 26 county area they serve, 14.8% of the child population suffers from food insecurity. Giving to Harvesters is one of the easiest ways we can serve our community and neighbors. We will have Harvesters bins placed throughout the office to collect from Monday, 11/28 and Friday, 12/9. The highest need items are listed below.
If donating funds is easier, you can DONATE HERE. $1 = 3 meals!
We will be having a friendly competition amongst the groups to see who can collect the most food items and meals. Bins will be placed in the cube nearest the supply cabinet. If you donate online, please screenshot or print out your sheet to let us know how many meals you’ve sponsored to add to our total. We are also going to have signage near Whitney’s desk for all the foot traffic that comes through our building but if you want your donations to count for your group, please place them in the corresponding bin. Our collective goal is to collect 300 food items and 300 meals! Groups will receive 3 points for the hygiene products listed below, 2 points per food item listed below (*no glass please), 1 point for any food item not on Harvester’s list and 1 point per dollar donated.
